We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our establishment, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, service, and overall hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management, culinary experience, and a passion for leading teams to success. As General Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence while creating a welcoming environment for both staff and guests.
Duties
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant or hotel, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards.
Manage food production processes, including preparation and cooking, to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Supervise and train staff in all areas of service, from kitchen operations to front-of-house activities.
Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and team management practices.
Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Maintain inventory control, ensuring that all food supplies are adequately stocked and managed.
Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with culinary teams to design menus that reflect current trends while meeting guest expectations.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with hands-on experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff alike.
Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is advantageous.
