to join Crest Hotels as

General Manager.




Our

General Manager

will lead the business to deliver solid financial results while engaging our guests and team. Being guest centric is key with experience of P & L & H & S, you will be the leader of the business. The role is an operational role with around 40% of time focussed on admin and 60% on the floor.


Our

General Manager

will have passion and commitment to quality by investing in the team and ensuring quality training is delivered alongside the team of HOD's, have the willingness to create a welcoming environment and provide guests with a memorable stay that makes them want to visit again and again.


Our General Managers get to "own" their properties and drive progression, this is an ideal role for an existing Hotel Manager or General Manager from a small Hotel, with a strong operational and revenue background.


We are committed to ensuring that our new General Manager has a smooth transition and a warm welcome, to assist this we can provide live-in accommodation for up to 6 weeks. This supports opportunity for relocation and familiarisation as you start your Crest career, in addition our current General Manager who is moving to a new opportunity in the group will be on hand to support with the transition.

Job Overview:




The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining efficient business operations. The GM will lead, motivate, and manage staff to deliver a high-quality guest experience while achieving financial and operational goals. The GM will also develop and implement strategies to drive hotel revenue, control costs, and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.

Experience & Qualifications



WSET level 1 or above. IOSH qualification. Personal License. Strong organisational skills, strong numeric skills, and a good understanding of figures. Evidentially self-motivated and proactive approach. Strong demonstratable experience of managing a hotel, being accountable for all aspects of the business from financials to Health & Safety.
