General Manager @ Spanish Caravan (Slater Street, Liverpool)

Salary:

30,000 per annum rising to 32,000 after 3 month probation period.

Hours:

Full-time (40 hours per week)

The Role

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the venue, ensuring exceptional service and high standards, while leading the team by example.

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing daily operations, including staffing, service, and stock management. Supervise staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Review financial performance, including budgeting and reports. Ensuring all licensing, health & safety, and compliance standards are met. Planning promotions and events to increase engagement on social media. Handle customer complaints or issues promptly to maintain positive guest relations. Promote a welcoming environment that reflects the company values.

Skills

Proven track record delivering effective service in a high-traffic bar. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent organisation. Previous management experience. Confidence with draft beer systems, including line cleaning and cellar management.
