is Connaught Care's brand-new 84-bedded luxury home in Wichelstowe, Swindon. Purpose-built and open since May 2025, it's a haven of comfort, warmth, and modern elegance. But bricks and mortar only go so far. What truly makes a home exceptional is the person who leads it.

We're looking for a General Manager with the rare blend of commercial sharpness, emotional intelligence, and visionary leadership to shape this home into something remarkable -- not just operationally sound, but passionate about making this Home for our staff and residents MATTER.

You won't just be running a service. You'll be building a reputation, earning trust, growing a community presence, and crafting an experience that makes families think of us as the #1 choice for their loved ones.

What we're looking for:

Experience managing a newly opened care home Proven track record with luxury, high-end care environments Confidence in marketing and community engagement to drive occupancy Inspirational leadership that attracts, develops, and retains brilliant teams Deep understanding of CQC, compliance, and safeguarding Passion for truly person-centred care - because good isn't good enough
In short: you've run successful, Good or Outstanding-rated homes before. You know what outstanding looks like... and more importantly, how it feels.
