Duties
Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to maintain high-quality standards
Manage team members including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies
Develop and implement operational procedures to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock control to minimise waste
Maintain a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring outstanding hospitality at all times
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly
Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning and special event organisation
Analyse financial reports to support budgeting and strategic planning
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hotel environment, with strong team management skills
Extensive culinary experience including food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production and kitchen management
Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous
Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills
Strong understanding of hospitality operations, including restaurant or hotel management principles
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or culinary arts are desirable
