Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing FOH operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The General Manager will play a crucial role in driving the success of our establishment while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead foh staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction are met. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Develop and train team members. Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while managing labour costs effectively. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events and menu items, enhancing overall business performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations. Experience in bartending. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant management. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
