Role Overview
The General Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of all day-to-day operations at NutraPrep's. This role requires a strong leader who can manage people, processes, and performance to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
You'll oversee staff management, food production, cleanliness & compliance, logistics, budgets, and customer service, ensuring NutraPrep's continues to thrive as a professional and respected business.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee all daily kitchen and packaging operations, ensuring meals are produced to exact standards.
Monitor and enforce health & safety, hygiene, and food safety compliance at all times.Drive efficiency while maintaining quality and portion control.
Team Management
Lead, motivate, and develop the team, ensuring accountability at all levels.
Manage rotas, training, and staff performance.
Handle HR matters including recruitment, onboarding, and disciplinary procedures.
Business Performance
Track budgets, costs, and inventory to ensure profitability.Implement and improve systems for ordering, stock control, and waste reduction.
Report on KPIs and progress to the Director.
Customer Focus
Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Maintain excellent communication and service standards across all channels.Support new ideas, products, and promotions to drive growth.
Continuous Improvement
Identify areas for improvement in processes and staff performance.
Support the rollout of new systems, technologies, and menu developments.
Work closely with the Director to align operations with business goals.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in an operational management role (food production or hospitality preferred).Strong leadership and people management skills.
Knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and compliance regulations.
Highly organised with excellent problem-solving ability.
Financial acumen with experience in budgets, stock control, and cost management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.50-16.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
