Duties
Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and staff supervision
Oversee kitchen activities, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and efficient food production processes
Supervise and motivate team members, including chefs, serving staff, and front-of-house personnel
Develop and implement operational policies to optimise service quality and customer satisfaction
Manage inventory levels, procurement, and cost control measures to maximise profitability
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all departments
Organise staff training programmes to promote professional development and maintain high standards of service
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to uphold the establishment's reputation
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients and supplies
Maintain a welcoming environment that reflects the organisation's brand values
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
Experience in restaurant management roles is highly desirable
Familiarity with culinary techniques such as food presentation, serving, and barista operations is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Previous experience in supervising staff involved in hospitality services such as catering or bar management is preferred
