Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Medicine Consultant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position requires a strong foundation in various medical specialties and the ability to manage complex cases effectively.

Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations, including physical examinations and medical history reviews. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in various specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and more to develop effective treatment plans. Utilize EHR systems and EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans. Assist in perioperative care, including pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups. Provide critical care support in high-acuity settings, including ICU and neurocritical care environments. Perform procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, airway management, and catheterization as needed. Engage in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient care practices and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records. Participate in discharge planning and provide health coaching to patients for ongoing wellness management.

Requirements



Medical degree (MD or DO) with relevant residency training completed or in progress. Experience or knowledge in various medical fields including but not limited to psychiatry, maternal-fetal medicine, dermatology, oncology, pediatrics, and emergency medicine is preferred. Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic; familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding (CPT/ICD), and documentation standards. Basic life support certification; advanced certifications in ACLS or PALS are advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and collaboration within a healthcare team. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Pay: 90.00-100.00 per hour
