Job Description

G T Williams Ltd is a long-established family-owned Engineering company specialising in utilities and now rapidly expanding within the telecommunication industry.

Our growing company is looking for a General Office Administrator. If you are looking for an exciting place to work, we may have the ideal opportunity for you!

Main Purpose of Post:



To undertake data inputting, filing and general administration activities across the Finance team.

Principal Responsibilities:



Assist and work closely with the various departmental line managers to ensure smooth operation including maintaining all financial files and records. Responsible for being the first-point contact for G T Williams Ltd, attending to telephone calls and transferring calls to the right departments. Inputting data for individual jobs with speed and accuracy. Undertake the preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required. Provide support to other team members. Carry out any other duties as required to meet business needs, subject to appropriate training.

Experience



Previous Administrative Experience - essential Excellent ITC and office-based skills - essential Ability to work under pressure and keep calm - essential Good customer service skills, ability to liaise and coordinate both within the company and with other parties - essential Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks - essential

Knowledge



Good Microsoft Office knowledge especially Excel, Word and Outlook

Qualifications & Training



Full Driving License - Essential due to depot location

Personal Qualities



Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual Excellent time keeping and attendance records Problem solving and 'can do' attitude Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner

Good communication skills and ability to multi-task Proactive approach and good problem-solving skills Excellent coordination and liaison skills Excellent time management Good customer service skills Attention to detail is essential

Other Requirements



To be flexible with working times To be able to work from various GTW Offices if required The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage but not essential Must be willing to undertake any other training deemed necessary to fulfil the role

Please note we will need to complete a Driving Licence and DBS check.

Location: Edern Depot, with the requirement to relocate to Caernarfon depot in the future
