Due to retirement, we currently have an opportunity for a reliable, part time general office assistant/deliveries person to be based at our office in Leeds city centre. Previous experience in an office administration position would be an advantage, as the position may also involve some administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Opening post and preparing post for pick up each evening.
Deliveries between our offices in Leeds city centre, Bradford, Pudsey and Yeadon.
Deliveries to other organisations in Leeds and the Yorkshire region, as and when required
Confidential waste.
Archiving files ready for scanning.
File & deed retrieval/return, logging on case management system.
Keeping the office vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly, arranging the MOT, servicing, repairs, valeting. Delivering/picking up the car from the garage.
Skills
Excellent communications skills.
Office or administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
Previous administrative experience.
Good IT knowledge.
Good keyboard skills.
Qualifications
Full, clean driving license
