Based at: Expac (Preston) Ltd based at Units 1 & 2, Tomlinson Road, Leyland, Preston PR25 2DY

The Opportunity:



You'll be joining our amazing team as General Operations Administrator working Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am - 3.30pm. Working within a fast paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement, right in the heart beat of the business.

The Person:



The ideal candidate will bring with them general operations administration experience in Manufacturing with a GMP focus. They will be people oriented and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We at Expac have an integrated approach to teamworking and so the individual will be good at building positive relationships. Each day is different with a new set of challenges and therefore motivation and a positive attitude are the drivers for success.

Job Purpose:



To support manufacturing operations by coordinating administrative, logistical and operational processes that ensure efficient production, compliance and workflow continuity. This role acts as key liaison between production, procurement, quality, maintenance and management teams.

Duties/Areas of Responsibility;



Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to operations, management and cross functional teams Maintain organised filing systems (digital and physical) for operational documents and records Help to identify operational inefficiencies and suggest process improvements Collect, enter and maintain accurate operational data in internal systems and spreadsheets Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with company policies Monitor and track operational activities to ensure deadlines and service standards are met Track inventory levels and co-ordinate restocking as needed, keeping al relevant systems up to date Liaise with 3PL service providers to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution Support audits and internal reviews by preparing documentation Serve as point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring information is accurately and efficiently conveyed between all parties involved Deal with goods in/goods out, ensuring that goods are as per the paperwork, ensuring that any discrepancies are reported to the relevant person Create internal paperwork for drivers and 3PL warehouse provider Regularly update component schedules and distribute to production team to keep everyone informed of any changes General administration tasks

Key Skills & Attributes;



Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross functional team and to manage relationships with others Proficiency in MS Office Positive attitude and comfortable in dealing with stakeholders at all levels

Desirable:



NVQ Business and Administration Previous experience in administrative, operations or office support roles, supporting multiple departments or senior management would be advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.46 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
