We are looking to recruit a General Operative to join our production team. The role would suit someone who wishes to work in a busy and demanding environment.

Duties will include

Supporting the Production Supervisor in all aspects of the manufacturing process

Adhering to the company's Food Safety and HACCP procedures

Following recipes and procedures and keeping records

Packing into bags/boxes/containers including labelling

Reporting any safety, quality, hygiene, or other issues promptly to the line manager

Comply with all policies and processes

To assist in general ad-hoc duties that arise on a daily basis

The successful candidate will:

Be willing to work hard at a good pace with high levels of organisation.

Be required to work 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, days only starting at 8am.

Be able to work well on their own or as part of a team.

Have food industry background or experience.

Have good communication & literacy skills.

Be flexible.

Be passionate about safety, quality and cleanliness.

A FLT driving license would be advantageous but not essential.

The company will offer:

8 hour days (8am - 5pm with one unpaid hour for lunch)

25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.55 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
