Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive General Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks within our facility, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals.

4 Day working week - Mon-Thurs 7am-5.30pm

Responsibilities

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility, including handling materials and products. Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly for resolution. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good physical fitness, as the role may require lifting and moving heavy items. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in an operational environment is preferred. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed.
