General Operatives

to join our finishing and quality control team. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a growing company and to contribute directly to the high-quality standards our customers expect.

ey Responsibilities

As a General Operative in the finishing/quality control area, your duties will include:

Carrying out finishing tasks such as applying filler, sanding, and minimal painting. Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Performing general cleaning and upkeep of the work area to maintain a safe and efficient environment. Supporting colleagues across different production tasks as required. Identifying defects and reporting issues to supervisors for corrective action. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timeframes.

Skills & Attributes

Previous experience in a manufacturing or finishing environment is desirable but not essential (training will be provided). Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to use hand tools and finishing equipment safely and effectively. Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks. Good team player with strong communication skills. A proactive attitude towards health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
