Production Operative (FLT Certificate Required)

to join the team in

Flixton - Bungay

The hours of work and shift patterns are:

Monday - Friday 4pm - 00:10pm

The rates of pay are: 13.16

Main Responsibilities:

Our Production Operatives (FLT Certificate Required) temporary role will be responsible for:

Correctly and effectively carrying out the required functions, once trained to do so, in the cutting hall General operative duties on the line as required Ensuring that all areas of training in basic food hygiene, health and safety and product quality are adhered to Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and presentation during working hours Keeping the working area clean and tidy. Load vehicles. Unload vehicles. Check consignments. Ensure any discrepancies are identified and recorded. Keep accurate and legible records. Be trained to operate a forklift truck or electric palletiser and pump truck Convey wrapped pallets to floor scales for weighing. Ensure correct pallet segregation To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the factory and unit Manual Handling/ loading and unloading trailers*

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will:

Valid FLT license essential (counterbalance forklift) Have the ability to meet targets i.e. productivity, quality hygiene and waste. Work as part of a team and effectively communicate with all colleagues and Management staff Be thorough and methodical Be self-motivated Maintain high personal standards Be comfortable working with raw meat in a chilled and pressurised environment
