General Operative - Field Services (London & South / Midlands & Norwich)

Are you a proactive and practical individual with a driver's license, eager to kickstart a career in building services? We're looking for two enthusiastic General Operatives to join our growing field services team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone keen to develop sought-after skills in electrical, plumbing, gas, and Building Management Systems (BMS).

We have one position based in

London and the South

, and another covering the

Midlands and Norwich

.

What you'll do:

As a General Operative, you'll work alongside our experienced technicians, providing essential support on various projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting qualified engineers with maintenance, installation, and repair tasks across diverse sites. Learning on the job, gaining hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, gas, and BMS systems. Undertaking general duties to ensure the smooth operation of projects. Adhering to all health and safety regulations. Representing the company professionally while on client sites.

What we're looking for:

A valid, full

UK Driver's License

is essential. A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills in electrical, plumbing, gas, and BMS. Excellent work ethic and a proactive, can-do attitude. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to travel within your designated region. Prior experience in a hands-on role or trades is a plus, but not essential.
