Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operations within our facility, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring smooth workflow. Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas to promote safety and efficiency. Operate machinery and equipment safely, following all health and safety guidelines. Support team members in various tasks as directed by supervisors. Conduct quality checks on products to ensure compliance with company standards. Report any issues or discrepancies to management promptly.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within a workplace setting. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Physical stamina and capability to perform manual tasks consistently throughout the shift. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing operational needs.
