We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations. Responsibilities

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Operate machinery and equipment as required, following all safety protocols and guidelines. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Support the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are used. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or processes to management promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement. Physical fitness is necessary, as the role may involve lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
