Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Production team. This role will provide support to the wider team by ensuring raw materials, consumables, and components are accurately picked, staged, and issued in line with works orders, preparing finished goods for packing and shipment in accordance with company quality standards. Your key responsibilities will be to:
Responsibilities
Pick raw materials and consumables for production orders, ensuring pick error rate is minimal.
Prepare kits and stage them at designated WIP locations, with system scanning (EpicorERP).
Complete stock movement transactions in the Company's ERP system (EpicorERP).
Ensure packaging materials are available and organised.
Pack finished products for shipment to standards, ensuring pack error rate is kept to a minimum.
Support smooth flow from staging to dispatch.
Report shortages, discrepancies, or issues.
Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a production or warehouse environment, with knowledge or experience in stock control and barcode scanning.
Competent IT skills with the ability to learn and carry out duties on new systems and processes.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to meet production/dispatch deadlines.
Ability to work well and communicate in a team and complete sole tasks.
VNA and FLT licence are essential for this role, however training will be provided for candidates who do not currently hold these.
This role involves tasks that require physical fitness. Candidates must be able to lift & move large items, stand for extended periods, and perform manual handling tasks safely as part of their daily duties.
