Role:
This role is to ensure that manufactured products meet the required quality standards, all products are correctly identified and to achieve maximum OEE figures at all times.
Responsibilities:
Ensure product selected for packing is the correct visual and dimensional quality as defined on product internal specification information
Select and print descriptive labels and attach to appropriate product/stillage
Minor fault finding and rectification as required after relevant training
The data to be recorded is production booking, downtime, scrap, overweight and quality checks
Ensure production outputs are achieved on time and in full
Ensure quality standards are achieved at all times by checking the product for defects
Ensure product once inspected is placed into packaging with relevant labels
Wherever possible ensure that a programme of continuous improvement is undertaken
Ensure a clean and safe working area for yourself and others
Ensure all waste products are separated into their designated containers
Requirements:
Ideally have previously worked in a fast pace manufacturing environment
Previous history in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
Basic understanding of manufacturing
Knowledge of H&S and Environmental requirements
Workings Hours & Benefits:
Hours of work are on a two week rotating shift pattern:
Week 1: Monday - Thursday days, 6:00am-6:00pm
Week 2: Monday - Wednesday nights, 6:00pm-6:0am
12.21 per hour plus shift premium for working hours between 10:00pm-6:00am
