Skirting 4 U are a leading manufacturer and supplier of custom-made skirting boards, architrave and other interior mouldings. All our products are manufactured to order and delivered UK wide.

Skirting 4 U aims to become the UK's primary skirting supplier by making the ordering, production and delivery processes as seamless and hassle free as possible, for a recognizably more convenient, superior customer experience.

As Skirting 4 U continues to expand, we're excited to launch a brand-new

weekend night shift

. We are now looking for

three General Operatives

to join this team and play a key role in our ongoing growth and production.

Shift Pattern:

Friday:

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Saturday:

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Sunday:

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
While previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, it's not required --

full training will be provided

Training Program:

Before starting the weekend night shift, all successful candidates will complete a

two-month training program

to ensure they're fully confident and capable in operating all relevant machinery and processes:

Month 1:

Day shift training (Rota to be confirmed)

Month 2:

Night shift training (Rota to be confirmed)

Key responsibilities

Operating woodworking machinery and tools Cutting, profiling, sanding and spraying MDF products Conducting quality checks on finished items Wrapping, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch Assisting with loading delivery vans Maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free workspace in line with health and safety standards Supporting general production tasks and taking the opportunity to learn new skills across stations
Note: This list is not exhaustive--there's plenty of scope to grow and develop within the role.

Health & Safety

As a manufacturing business, safety is our top priority. While working in the factory, you'll be required to wear appropriate PPE at all times. This includes (but is not limited to) steel toe-capped boots, a full-face powered respirator, and ear protection.
