Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Operative / Driver to join our fabrication department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to various tasks within a dynamic environment. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, contributing to both fabrication activities and delivery services.

Duties

Support Fabrication Department with manual handling etc. Assist in organisation of materials & general housekeeping. Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles, including flatbed lorries. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations. Drive delivery vans as required adhering to all safety regulations. Support the logistics team in planning and executing deliveries, ensuring timely distribution of products. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following health and safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Strong work ethic & ability to work under own task. Experience of hand & power tools. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and management. Experience in fabrication operations is advantageous Clean driving licence. Previous experience as a van driver is advantageous Familiarity within metal fabrication or signage industry will be considered an asset.
