1:00pm or 2:00pm

Key Responsibilities
Administration & Coding
Opening, scanning, and processing incoming post into
Docman
Filing letters accurately within Docman
Reviewing incoming correspondence to determine whether GP review is required or if it can be filed directly
Coding relevant clinical information and problems
Using
EMIS templates
to code clinical data appropriately
Prescribing Cover (during annual leave only)
Issuing prescriptions for
EPS signing and sending
Managing prescription queries and actioning tasks for GPs
Handling
care home prescriptions
and
blister pack requests
Supporting safe and efficient prescribing processes
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working in a
GP practice or medical centre
EMIS trained
Docman trained
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable (Ideal) Experience
Docman filing experience
Previous prescribing or prescription clerk experience
Experience dealing with care home prescriptions and blister packs
