General Practice Nurse Diabetes/asthma
Job Description
We are a friendly, caring, and welcoming GP Practice offering high-quality NHS primary care services to our patient population, from our two sites in Goring and Woodcote.
We are seeking a nurse to work clinically across both surgeries.
The candidate will be working within our multidisciplinary team (GPs, GP registrars, nurses, our clinical pharmacist and HCAs).
We are looking for someone with compassion and who can influence, inspire and energise the team around them.
We are looking for a team player who recognises and can develop the team's strengths to deliver a top-quality nursing service.
Experience, pay and hours will be discussed further at interview.
Main Duties and General Administrative Responsibilities:
Clinically, the role will include all elements of treatment room nursing and ideally some chronic disease management (asthma, COPD, diabetes). Previous practice nurse experience is essential. Experience in minor illness is also preferable. Conduct all duties in accordance with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) code of professional conduct and other local/ national policies, guidelines, and protocols.
