General Practice Nurse

We are a friendly, caring, and welcoming GP Practice offering high-quality NHS primary care services to our patient population from our two sites in Goring and Woodcote. We aim to provide high-quality and personal health care services to our whole patient population because every patient matters.

We are seeking a qualified general practice nurse to work within our clinical nurse team across both Goring and Woodcote.

We are looking for someone with compassion and who can influence, inspire and energise the team around them. We are looking for a team player who recognises and can develop within a team to deliver a top-quality nursing service.

Your day as a General Practice Nurse will be varied and will include phlebotomy, ECG's, urinalysis, health checks, wound care, foot checks on diabetic patients, vaccinations. Alongside more specialised areas such as cervical screening, COPD and Diabetes reviews.

Main Duties and General Administrative Responsibilities:

Clinically, the role will include all elements of treatment room nursing and ideally some chronic disease management (asthma, COPD, diabetes). Previous practice nurse experience is essential. Experience in minor illness is also preferable. Conduct all duties in accordance with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) code of professional conduct and other local/ national policies, guidelines, and protocols.
