Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse who can work between 12 and 30 hours per week, to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the clinical team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. As a Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering nursing services to patients, promoting health education, and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, and follow-up consultations. Administer vaccinations and perform various clinical procedures as required. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice policies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients on health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications. Assist in the management of chronic conditions and provide support for patients' ongoing health needs. Participate in health promotion activities and community outreach initiatives. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe clinical environment.

Experience

Proven experience in a nursing role, preferably within a primary care or community setting. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a focus on empathy and communication. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is advantageous. A valid nursing qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body are essential.
