Role & Responsibilities
As a valued member of the clinical team, your key duties will include:
Providing high-quality clinical care to patients registered with the practice, working closely with the clinical leads and wider team to support delivery of the practice's operational plan.
Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, actively participating in audit and quality improvement to enhance health outcomes and support the practice in achieving targets including QOF, enhanced services, and CQC quality standards.
Delivering care in line with the practice's access model -- including face-to-face and video consultations, telephone triage, reviewing test results and correspondence, medication reviews, clinical admin, safeguarding responsibilities, home visits, medicals, reports, and participation in duty/on-call rota (excluding OOH).
Adhering to the highest personal and professional standards as defined by the GMC, always placing patient care and safety at the forefront.
Working collaboratively with the Practice Manager and Clinical Lead to support practice development, including improvements in patient experience, service delivery, performance indicators, resource management, and sustainability.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
Fully registered with the GMC and on the NHS Performers List, actively engaged in regular clinical practice.
An experienced GP with MRCGP qualification (or equivalent experience and accreditation).
Demonstrates a strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
Good working knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs, and confident in using correct clinical coding.
Ideally familiar with primary care clinical systems such as EMIS Web.
A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to workload management.
Motivated to contribute to practice development, innovation, and excellent patient outcomes.
