About Doctorcall

Doctorcall is one of the UK's longest-established private GP services, with over 35 years of experience delivering high-quality medical care. Based in London, we pioneered the UK's first visiting doctor service and now provide thousands of private GP visits each year.

We support a diverse range of patients including:

International visitors using medical insurance Hotel guests in need of urgent GP care Self-paying local patients seeking convenience and responsive service
We are now expanding into

Brighton

and are seeking experienced, self-motivated GPs to join our network.

The Role

This is a

flexible, sessional role

ideal for GPs who want to supplement their existing work with meaningful, well-supported private practice.

You'll visit patients in their homes, hotels, or workplaces--providing timely and personalised care. Most presentations are standard GP cases such as infections, minor injuries, respiratory issues, fevers, and rashes.

You set your availability--typically early mornings, evenings, or weekends Consultations are pre-arranged by our admin team based on your schedule All clinical notes are entered via our secure Doctorcall App (iOS & Android) We provide

full indemnity cover

Requirements

GMC-registered GP with a current UK licence to practise MRCGP or equivalent postgraduate qualification Up-to-date mandatory training and vaccinations Strong clinical and communication skills Able to work independently with a compassionate, patient-first approach Access to a car (essential)

Schedule

Flexitime (you tell us your availability) Work may be early mornings, evenings, or weekends Consultations arranged ad-hoc depending on patient demand
