:

General Sales Assistant.

Location:

Chepstow Garden Centre.

Working Pattern:

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10am - 5:30pm,

every other weekend, Saturday 10am - 5:30pm, Sunday 10am - 5:30pm.

Please note that in January to the third week of February the store closes at 5pm and working hours will be adjusted in this period.

We are currently looking for a

General Sales Assistant

to work in our shop floor department, someone with high standards, a good work ethic and a good level of flexibility.

Please note due to the seasonal nature of our business we do not allow holidays to be taken in April and May.

Main Duties/Tasks:

Stock replenishment, ordering.

To be ready to recommend products to customers and suggest items to meet their needs.

To take an active role in display and presentation, cleaning, and other maintenance.

Display and Merchandising.

Ensure that all items are clearly priced.

Excellent customer service.

Requirements:

Good Communicator. Good Team Player, driven by the desire to deliver 100% customer satisfaction. Flexible with working hours due to the nature of the business. Health and Safety Conscious The position will require a lot of heavy lifting, so a good degree of fitness is required.

Salary and Company Benefits:

Starting salary exceeds age related minimum wage up to 12.30 per hour. 28 days annual leave including paid Bank Holidays, pro-rata basis for part-time employees. Uniform and safety shoes will be provided. Discounted rates on food and drink in our restaurant whilst working. In store staff discount after completion of a successful probation.
