Responsibilities

Assisting with food preparation to ensure timely service and quality standards are met Serving customers efficiently and courteously, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction Upholding food safety standards and ensuring cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and dining space Managing basic maths for billing, cash handling, and stock control Supporting kitchen staff with culinary tasks as needed, including ingredient organisation and prep work Demonstrating effective time management to handle multiple tasks during busy periods Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health regulations

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety practices and standards is advantageous Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is preferred Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management are necessary Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity will be considered a plus Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and sales performance

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Experience:

Hospitality: 2 years (preferred) Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
