Salary: 24,310 to 25,183 per annum pro rata

Fixed Term Contract End Date: 31 August 2026 (initially)

Vacancy Hours: 27.8 hours per week Term Time Only plus 5 training days

Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire

Due to the increasing number of pupils in our school, we are seeking to recruit a part time teaching assistant to support the needs of our pupils.

The skills and confidence to work with children in Early Years and Key Stage 1; A proven track record in effectively supporting individuals within a primary school setting; The ability to establish excellent relationships with children and promote aspirational achievement for all groups of learners; Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team; Believe in the inclusion for all and is able to implement strategies to support children with SEND.

All contracts are term time only (TTO) contract plus the 5 staff training days each year. This is initially a fixed term contract until August 2026.



The post also requires four days in our After-School Club. Working days are Monday 9:00 - 3:15pm, Tuesday to Friday, 12 - 5:30pm.
