We are looking for someone to work 2 days a week.
Operated over 365 days a year incl weekends / bank holidays (e.g. Easter/Christmas/New year etc.) plus extra shifts to cover holidays
This role includes 1 day every weekend.
Immediate Start - Interview will include a Trial morning.
This position will start January 2026 and will suit someone located locally, who will not be leaving the area for extended periods of time.
Working in a small friendly team, having the ability to work on your own and using initiative is key. A suitable candidate would have had working experience with horses, with the ability to on occasion have sole charge of the yard. Experience with sheep, and various poultry is a bonus but on the job training is provided. A hands on role, that requires a dedicated and compassionate physically fit individual who applies initiative and attention to detail to be able to provide the best of care to all animals under our care.
Duties include mucking out, feeding, grooming, tack cleaning, general yard duties, handling all animals and exercising horses. Due to this, having a confident riding ability is an advantage. With opportunities to broaden your skills set and learn, gaining experience with a wide range of animals.
Being able to motivate and maintain a positive working environment is essential as we are a fun loving and close nit team. Having a sense of humor and having a hard working attitude is essential with good communication skills.
