company are recruiting for aGenerator Engineer
to join the team based inSouth East, North London, UK
. This is afull-time, permanent
position.Reporting into the South West Service Manager the Generator Technician will provide maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switchgear, control systems and associated equipment. Our support is carried out at client's premises or Pharos sites. Key tasks include:
Responsibilities:
Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance Carrying out diagnostic, testing and remedial works on generators and associated equipment Providing call-out cover for generator breakdowns on a rota system Carrying out client site visits Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in Generator Engineering of at least 5 years Mechanical diagnostic experience Qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar Skilled in technical report writing with acute attention to detail
