The Generator Service Administrator plays a vital role in coordinating the daily operations of the Service Department. This position ensures that all generator maintenance, servicing, and repair activities are efficiently scheduled, tracked, and documented. The role involves close communication with customers, engineers, and internal teams to deliver a seamless service experience.

Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in a service administration, scheduling, or coordination role (experience within generator, electrical, or mechanical service industries preferred).
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using service management software.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Coordination & Administration
Schedule and coordinate service, maintenance, and repair jobs for generator engineers across the UK.
Manage engineer diaries, ensuring efficient workload distribution and timely response to customer needs.
Record, track, and update all service jobs including planned maintenance, reactive callouts, and warranty work.
Prepare and issue job sheets, service reports, and purchase orders as required.
Ensure all completed service documentation is returned, reviewed, and accurately filed.
Customer Communication & Support
Act as the primary point of contact for customer service queries, updates, and scheduling.
Provide clear and timely communication to customers regarding job progress and completion.
Deliver a professional and customer-focused service that reflects Pleavin Power's high standards.
Data & Documentation Management
Maintain and update the company's service management systems and records.
Assist with reporting and performance tracking for the service team.
Support invoicing processes by ensuring all service data and documentation are complete and accurate.
Operational Support
Liaise with suppliers to order parts and arrange logistics for service works.
Monitor stock levels for service-related equipment and consumables.
Support the Service Manager with operational planning, compliance tracking, and performance metrics
