Geo-Environmental Engineer sought at an award-winning Medium-sized Multidisciplinary Consultancy. This role is based in Birmingham.

Overview

Our client is a reputable, award-winning multidisciplinary engineering consultancy offering civil, structural, geo-environmental and geotechnical services across the country. They take pride in their agility and innovation, coupled with extensive experience gained over many years delivering a range projects across multiple sectors.
You will be joining their growing Geo-Environmental team in Birmingham, where you'll work on a variety of challenging and interesting projects from due diligence and ground investigation through construction, to completion, across a range of sectors. With the support of senior colleagues, you'll be involved in the production of ground investigation reports, remediation strategies, earthworks specifications, and validation reports.

Requirements

Ideally a geology or earth science degree (2:1 or above) 1 - 4 years' background in ground investigation, environmental monitoring or relevant work would be beneficial Good communication skills Ambitious to learn and progress your career An interest in contaminated land or ground engineering A problem solver, with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members Good record keeping, analytical thinking and writing skills would be beneficial Full driving licence
