Salary 24,000 - 26,000/Annum (dependant on experience)
Hours: 40.0hrs per week

About the Role

We are currently seeking a GIS Trainee Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work from our office in Portglenone. This position would be ideally suited to an individual with an academic background in GIS/data management, who is keen to gain commercial experience. The successful candidate will be self- motivated and have a good methodical approach to their work.

Primary Duties

The successful candidate will be required to:

Update and migrate data between various GIS and database platforms Maintain company data on GIS and other asset systems as required Production of mobile web maps on ArcGIS Online Digitise surveyed utility data including infrastructure attributes for upload onto various client's GIS Input and manage database systems, develop scripts, model building, create and produce reports etc.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics:

Relevant qualification in GIS with previous work experience using GIS software Excellent computer skills including working with complex databases and spreadsheets Excellent numeracy, interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail will be essential Knowledge of water networks would be desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided Unwavering professional attitude to company and all associated staff and clients Good time management skills and an ability to prioritise your workloads Follow all company policies and procedures Hold a full current valid clean driving license
