Salary: 8,320 per annum (based on 80 per day, 2 days per week)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated part-time Geography Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire students and promote excellent progress in Geography across KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons tailored to the needs of all learners Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (including GCSE Geography) Set high expectations for student behaviour, effort, and achievement Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and support Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and GCSE requirements Participate in assessment, reporting, and parents' evenings where applicable Collaborate with colleagues to raise achievement and share best practice Support or lead extracurricular Geography and humanities-based activities Maintain accurate records in line with school policies Engage in CPD and performance management activities
Person Specification

Essential:

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) A degree in Geography or a related discipline Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography High expectations for students of all abilities and backgrounds Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills Commitment to professional development Willingness to support the school's values and Islamic ethos
Desirable:

Experience in a faith-based or independent school Understanding of Islamic values and respect for the school ethos Proven experience in raising attainment at GCSE level
