We are keen to hear from teachers who are not only excellent practitioners but also have the drive and potential to take on a TLR and contribute to the ongoing development of Geography provision and fieldwork experiences.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the complexities of our planet and its societies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the curriculum.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Geography.
• TLR opportunities may include leading a key stage, coordinating fieldwork, developing resources, or leading departmental projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Geography or a closely related field.
• Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge across physical and human geography, including fieldwork expertise.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead geographical inquiry.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Geography department (for TLR consideration).
