1. Role Purpose
The Copywriter is responsible for developing high-quality written content that represents Keplin's brand identity, supports sales, and ensures compliance across diverse product categories. The role requires balancing creativity with precision, producing copy that resonates with both B2C and B2B audiences while adhering to strict legal and regulatory requirements.
This position is central to Keplin's marketing and product communication strategy, ensuring all consumer touchpoints -- from product packaging and listings to instruction manuals and blogs -- are clear, engaging, compliant, and commercially effective.
2. Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Copywriting
Develop compelling and persuasive copy for product pages, web listings, and promotional campaigns that drive customer engagement and conversion.
Produce packaging copy that is consumer-friendly, accurate, and fully compliant with UK regulatory standards.
Draft clear, concise, and user-friendly instruction manuals and guides to support customer experience.
Create long-form content, such as blog posts and backlink articles, that enhances Keplin's digital presence and authority.
Write press releases and corporate communications to support product launches, media relations, and brand positioning.
Compliance & Accuracy
Ensure all copy adheres to legal, safety, and labelling standards, particularly in high-regulation categories such as health & wellness, electrical products, and pet care.
Collaborate with compliance teams to validate product information, claims, and disclaimers.
Maintain version control of product documentation to avoid discrepancies across platforms.
Optimisation & Digital Growth
Apply SEO principles and keyword optimisation to increase product visibility and search ranking.
Collaborate with digital marketing teams to align content with broader strategies for growth, backlinking, and digital outreach.
Monitor content performance and adapt messaging to maximise impact.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with product, buying, marketing, creative, and compliance teams to ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment.
Liaise with external PR contacts and agencies where required.
Present content drafts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final copy.
Editorial & Quality Assurance
Proofread all materials for grammar, spelling, tone, and accuracy.
Uphold consistency in voice and messaging across all Keplin communications.
Maintain a content library and ensure timely updates to reflect product changes or regulatory updates.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Quality and compliance of written materials (measured by error rates, compliance approvals, and stakeholder feedback).
SEO performance and content-driven traffic/conversion improvements.
Delivery of content to deadlines across multiple simultaneous briefs.
Consistency and alignment of messaging with Keplin's brand standards.
Contribution to customer satisfaction through clear and accurate product communication.
