Job Description

The Grange School is seeking to recruit a German Language Assistant on a permanent part time basis. This would be to commence as soon as possible.

The MFL Department is a strong team currently consisting of one full-time Head of Department, several full-time and part-time teachers, plus language assistants. The atmosphere of the department is enthusiastic and positive, meeting regularly to discuss progress, with all members contributing ideas for teaching and development of both subjects. The teaching environment is productive and exciting with both teachers and pupils contributing to its success.

Examination results reflect the high standards that are expected and achieved.

We offer a range of exciting enrichment opportunities including work with a local primary school as well our Junior School children, running trips to Europe, foreign film clubs and cultural experiences.

Responsibilities

To take small conversation classes, with Sixth Form to prepare students for public examinations, using a variety of resources The successful candidate will be expected to support co-curricular initiatives in the department. In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

Pay: 29.66 per hour
