Role Overview:
We are seeking a
Ghanaian-speaking Trainee Paralegal
to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop a legal career in a supportive and professional environment. The role will involve assisting solicitors with day-to-day casework, client communication, and administrative support, with a focus on Ghanaian-speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting solicitors in the preparation and management of legal cases.
Communicating with Ghanaian-speaking clients to take instructions and provide updates.
Drafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and case bundles.
Conducting legal research to support ongoing matters.
Attending client meetings and taking detailed notes.
Maintaining accurate records, files, and case management systems.
Providing general administrative support within the department.
Requirements:
Fluency in Ghanaian language(s) (spoken and written) is essential.
A law degree (LLB) or currently undertaking legal studies is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software (training provided).
