WE'RE LOOKING FOR TALENTED GIN LOVERS TO JOIN OUR VISITOR EXPERIENCE TEAM AT THE SECRET GARDEN DISTILLERY.

You'll be welcoming guests to our gin bar and working distillery and leading them on a tour to educate them on how we distil, bottle, label and ship every bottle of Secret Garden Gin.

ABOUT SECRET GARDEN DISTILLERY

Established in 2017 Secret Garden is the producer of a range of super premium natural Scottish gins. The Secret Garden Distillery showcases the wonder of nature. The Garden is home to a wide range of botanicals that have inspired the creation of our gins. Every sip tells a story of dedication to quality, commitment to nature and unwavering resolve to sharing the flavours of our Secret Garden.

Under new ownership since mid-2022, Secret Garden has been navigating away from being a small player in the spirits business towards its ambition of being an iconic brand in the UK and beyond. Built around our ethos of producing high-quality, sustainable products: we have ambitious plans and are looking for the right individual to help us achieve our goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident person to join our visitor experience team who will be responsible for delivering our tour to Secret Garden guests. The tour explores our distillery gardens where the customer is taken on a journey from seed to sip to see where our botanicals grow and ends with a tasting of our gin range. You will also lead a gin blending class where the customer can blend botanical flavours with gin.

Training will be provided to expand your distilling and botanical knowledge.

Secret Garden is looking for someone that embodies this mentality with a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and the desire to prove themselves in Scotland's exciting drinks industry.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivering the tour to all tour visitors.

Welcoming all attendees.

Prepping the welcome cocktail and setting up the tour.

Ordering and maintaining tour stock.

Ensuring the workspaces and glassware are clean and in line with our Health and Safety.

Locking up the tour room at the end of the day.

Occasionally when there are no tours, offering support in other areas of the business.

Liaising with the commercial team when necessary for customer tours.

Selling Secret Garden Gins on our experiences including taking payments and following payment protocols.

Qualifications and Traits:

Multiple dynamic and friendly individuals who will greet customers with courtesy, enthusiasm and confidence when delivering our gin experiences.

Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, and keen to present & host our gin experiences with your own flair to groups of gin-experience guests.

Flexibility, teamwork, and organisational skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The ability to think for yourself and manage your timekeeping during and between experience times.

An interest in gin, distilling and Scotland's food and drinks industry.

Proficiency in customer service; making phone calls and using email and booking systems to aid in managing reservations and guests.
