GIS Technician

Contract Type: Full Time/ Permanent
Location: Knutsford
Role:
GIS work to include but not limited to plan production, site finder analysis, on-site surveys, utility searches, cadastral referencing, data interrogation and data management.
Office & on site
Working with the Directors and Surveyors in day to day operations
Working on projects including renewables, wind, solar, battery, telecoms, gas, electricity and management of land.
Taking part in and contributing towards FGP's sustainability and net zero carbon goals
Contributing to the development of future revenue streams
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have:
A Masters degree in Geographic Information Systems or relevant degree, preferably RICS accredited
Fully proficient in ArcGIS Pro
Enjoys a challenge, able to problem solve and think on their feet
Ambition to work towards RICS Geomatics Surveyor qualifications
Relevant work experience of the rural or energy and utility sectors desirable
Be an effective time manager with the ability to prioritise tasks, working as an individual and as part of a team
Good organisational and communication skills, self-confidence and motivation.
Be able to communicate effectively with a professional manner and appearance
Willingness to learn new skills and undertake further relevant training
Full driving licence
Remuneration Package:
Salary - 30, 000 - 35,000 per annum dependant on experience
