SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Generate sales of fenestration products manufactured, supplied or fitted by the group. Following up on sales leads as well as generating your own, you will advise and recommend products to customers, costing jobs for trade and retail markets, offering price proposals, visiting customer's, creating sales packs and using company systems to track and manage sales leads.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:
Tier 2 Competencies
1. Generate costings for all products offered using suppliers quoting software.
2. Use the sales tracker to log all leads, follow up on leads, input information, add updates and track sales progress.
3. Build sales packs with all required information following company procedures.
4. Take payments from customers where needed.
5. Have a good working knowledge of all fenestration products offered by the company.
6. Able to advise customers on suitable products and options for their requirements.
7. Show and explain products to customers in the showroom.
8. Have a working knowledge of building regulations.
9. Promote the company in a positive manner at all times with a friendly, positive, customer focused attitude.
Tier 3 Competencies
1. Have a detailed understanding of installation timing requirements to enable accurate costing estimations as part of price proposals.
2. Have a detailed knowledge of all fenestration products and be able to clearly explain their differences including pro's, con's and limitations.
3. Have a detailed knowledge of building regulations so that price proposals are always compliant and suitable.
4. Able to confidently mentor, train and support staff, new to the position.

KEY SKILLS
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Good literacy skills and able to communicate clearly by email.
Manages time effectively so as to accomplish tasks efficiently.
Remains focused and productive when having to multi-task.
Be a confident communicator displaying a friendly, positive attitude at all times.
Have a sound business sense (understanding profit margins).
