Company Overview:

Glasscraft is a leading manufacturer of high- quality sealed glass units with a wide range of glass processing capabilities.

We are currently looking to expand our team at our Leeds site by recruiting a Production Line Operative to be a part of our Quality and Manufacturing Department.

This role primarily involves working primarily indoors in our factory.

No experience required

for all new starters,

regardless of your age

. For comparison, the minimum wage for an 18-year-old is currently 10.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Toughening of flat glass, including furnace operation, loading and unloading, and handling arising glass Manual glass cutting and/or operating an automatic table for cutting and breakout Manufacturing double-glazed sealed units, both on automatic lines and via hand gunning Operating both automatic and manual insulated glass unit lines Handling flat glass and insulated glass units Manual and automatic glass cutting Hand gunning Inspecting the quality and standard of glass Preparing glass for collection and dispatch
