Shard End Glass is a family run business that was founded in 1970 and incorporated in 1972. We currently employ two experienced Glaziers, two glass cutters and two sealed unit assemblers most of which have been employed by us for more than ten years. We have been looking after the glazing needs of Birmingham for 50 years and have built up an excellent reputation for the efficient services that we provide.

Job description

Shard End Glass have a vacancy for an experienced Glazier.

What we are looking for:

A Glazier with experience in various aspects of glazing both domestic and commercial to operate within the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

Somebody that is punctual, holds a strong work ethic and is able to work independently or as part of a team when required.

Must have a full clean driving licence and be able to commute to our premises in Witton.

Requirements:

Will need to pass an enhanced DBS check in order to work on schools, care homes etc. This will be provided by us.

Experience in glazing (5+ years is preferable)

PASMA, IPAF, CSCS and 'NVQ Level 2 in Glazing' qualifications preferred but not necessary.

Industry: Construction

References will be required.
