We are seeking a qualified Glazier / window and door repair to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of windows & doors in various residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of building structures and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent craftsmanship and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
Install, replace, and repair windows and doors in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment.
Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively during installations.
Perform necessary adjustments to ensure windows and doors operate smoothly and efficiently.
Conduct inspections of existing windows to identify issues such as leaks or damage.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of projects.
Follow all health and safety regulations while on site.
Qualifications
Proven qualifications & experienced Glazier
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to glazing and repairs.
Knowledge of building regulations and safety standards related to window installation.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good physical fitness as the role may involve lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
Full Uk Driving licence essential
