Global Automotive Market Manager - Thermal Ceramics Division



Remote (UK, Germany or France)

Morgan's Thermal Ceramics business makes materials that can handle extreme heat, protect people, and improve performance. We're already working with major automotive players, but we know there's more out there. That's where you come in.

We're looking for someone to lead our global push into the automotive market. You'll help us grow what we've got, find new opportunities, and make sure we're offering something customers actually want. You'll work across regions, influence teams, and build partnerships that last.

The Role



You'll be the go-to person for all things automotive in our Thermal Ceramics Division. That means setting the strategy, leading global efforts, and making sure we're delivering value to customers. You'll work with commercial and operational teams across the world, and you'll have the backing of our innovation centre to bring new ideas to life.


Responsibilities:
Define the strategy and go-to-market approach for each automotive segment Lead and coordinate global automotive activities across the division Manage senior relationships with key OEM and Tier 1 customers Support regional and global leadership in setting and delivering growth targets Consolidate market and competitive intelligence Identify new products, services and adjacent markets worth pursuing Influence the automotive value chain to protect long-term advantage Drive use of our New Business Development Pipeline tool across the team Build a culture of global collaboration Shape the organisation to capture market opportunities (e.g. refurbishment, distributor management)

Qualifications:
You've led commercial efforts in the automotive space and lived to tell the tale You know how to influence without direct authority - and get results You've worked directly with OEMs and Tier 1s for at least 5 years You understand strategy, sales models, and how to build a value proposition You're comfortable managing senior relationships and navigating complex organisations You've got a degree in business or something similar (bonus points for a master's)
