I\xe2\x80\x99m currently seeking a Global Benefit Risk Management Scientist Manager to join an industry leading pharmaceutical company on a 12-month contract in an almost fully remote position!

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work with different teams to make sure our products are not only effective but also safe for patients. Think of it as balancing the pros and cons to make sure patients get the best.

Your work doesn\xe2\x80\x99t just stay within our walls; you\xe2\x80\x99ll also represent the company in meetings where experts discuss safety. You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead our efforts to find smart ways to reduce risks and make sure they work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of consistent benefit-risk strategies across therapeutic areas.
  • Ensure global alignment in the company\xe2\x80\x99s approach to benefit-risk management.
  • Represent benefit-risk activities in internal and external committees.
  • Collaborate to implement patient-centric perspectives into processes.
  • Identify and apply effective risk minimization strategies.
  • Monitor metrics and ensure compliance with global standards.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives for improved pharmacovigilance.
  • Support inspection activities for benefit-risk processes.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: Doctorate degree/ Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 3 years of Pharmacovigilance experience/ Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 5 years of Pharmacovigilance experience/ Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 10 years of Pharmacovigilance experience/ or High school diploma with 12 years of Pharmacovigilance experience.
  • Expert Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of global drug safety aspects, industry principles, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver formal presentations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Able to develop and maintain standardized processes, schedules, and training for benefit-risk management activities.
  • Influential Collaborator: Skilled at working independently, networking, and influencing effectively.
  • Multitasking: Proven ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: B.S. or M.S. in health services research, behavioural medicine, public health, or related fields, with at least 3 years of pharmaceutical/device industry experience, including 1 year in global drug safety and risk management.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in leading and managing teams.
